The Camp Culture

Working at a summer camp is a one of a kind experience. It’s hard work, sometimes physically draining, emotionally exhausting – but we know you’ll have the time of your life. You’ll do crazy, weird, and silly things you never thought you could do. You’ll meet people from around the world and form connections that will last you years, if not a lifetime. You’ll have a positive impact on children that will follow them for the rest of their lives. You’ll change your life and others for the better, forever.

To be successful at camp, you need to be prepared for hard work and the physical challenges of the job. You will live and work very closely with your peers, and have little time off to connect with your friends and family at home. Positions

Most new international staff will be hired as cabin counselors or activity specialists, depending on skill set. Counselors are responsible for daily care of a group of children and assist them with social and group living skills. Activity specialists teach camp activities like arts & crafts, archery, boating, horseback riding, etc. We also hire international staff on Summer Work Travel visas to work in support areas like the kitchen and laundry. Staff in all positions will have a chance to interact with campers and be a part of the camp community.
