8th Grade

Day Camp Counselor-In-Training (CIT)

Spend a week at Camp Fire Day Camp near you learning about what it takes to be a Day Camp Counselor. You’ll spend time with other CITs learning about leadership and working with kids while enjoying some of your favorite camp activities. CITs will also get a chance to shadow Teen Counselors and their camper groups for part of the week to try out your new skills! Learn more.

Adventure Camps at Camp Sealth

Practice your leadership skills while adventuring to a variety of destinations and experiencing new things. Teens will gain insight into their own personal goals and learn to challenge themselves to try new things and be a part of a team. Backpack, rock climb, river raft, or explore the natural setting of the Puget Sound region. Learn More.

9th-10th Grade

Day Camp Aide Program

Teens entering 9th or 10th grade in the fall are eligible to volunteer as Day Camp Aides. You will spend time in a variety of program areas such as games, outdoor cooking, arts & crafts, nature, and more! You will also earn community service hours! Learn more.

Leadership Focus Program at Camp Sealth

Leadership Focus is for teens who are excited about leadership, interested in working with kids, or who want to be a camp counselor in the future. This two-week session will combine a traditional camp experience with hands-on leadership experience and skills workshops. This program is a great intro to Counselor-In-Training. Learn more.

10th-11th Grade

Camp Sealth Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program

Join a group of spirited teens at Camp Sealth for a three-week program preparing you for leadership opportunities at Camp Sealth and beyond. Find out more!

Camp Sealth Riding Staff In Training (RSIT) Program

Teens with prior horsemanship experience can attend this three-week training program at Camp Sealth preparing you for horse focused leadership opportunities at Camp Sealth and beyond. Find out more!

11th-12th Grade

Day Camp Head Counselors

Teens entering 11th or 12th grade in the fall can volunteer as Head Counselors. You will be lead a group of campers through their week at Day Camp. Head Counselors can also assist at various program areas such as outdoor cooking, arts & crafts and more! You will also earn community service hours for this program! Learn more.

Camp Sealth LEAD Program

Learn the challenges and rewards of being a Camp Sealth staff member through this volunteer, junior staff position. You’ll assist counselors, activity specialists, and support staff while learning about all aspects of the job. LEADs, standing for Leadership, Engage, Act, and Discover, attend one week of training at the beginning of the summer and then volunteer for three additional sessions throughout the summer. As volunteers, LEADs are placed as assistant cabin leaders, activity leaders, or support staff. Formerly the High School Internship program. Learn more about this opportunity!
